Who we are
MycoVital is a family business based in Limeshain near Frankfurt in the German state of Hesse. Owner Christian Schmaus practically grew up with mushrooms. His father, owner of a mushroom farm, passed on his passion for mushrooms to him.
After almost 50 years of research and cultivation we can be proud of 14 pure organic medicinal mushrooms in the form of powder capsules, which exclusively in Germany are cultivated and processed. The exciting thing about our mushrooms is that we are far from knowing all of their properties and characteristics. Every day, we optimise our processes anew and scrutinise the individual stages of cultivation.
In addition to our mushrooms, we attach particular importance to Environmentally friendly production. To minimise the energy requirements of our cultivation, mushrooms, which prefer warm temperatures, are grown in summer. A specially developed sterilisation system for the substrate and photovoltaics help to reduce the impact on nature.
Our quality promise
Thanks to the control of the entire production process, from seed to filling into capsules, we ensure that you always receive the best organic quality. This is ensured by the high-quality organic raw materials, the use of fresh, ripe and whole mushrooms and their careful processing. Above all, this includes gentle drying and grinding so that all the valuable ingredients are retained. As a result, our mushroom powder capsules are free from any preservatives.
Products of the highest quality
The particularly strict internal and external quality controls of certified food laboratories and state food monitoring authorities, which are required by law in Germany, ensure that you always receive products of the highest quality. Our BIO production is certified annually by a Europe-wide authorised organic inspection body (DE-ÖKO-006). We fill the all-natural organic mushroom powder manually into cellulose capsules. Through this complex procedures we do not need any superplasticisers, binders or additives. You receive from us 100 % pure organic mushroom powder. We also deliberately avoid the tablet form, as filling and binding agents are required for their production.
We guarantee: All our mushroom powder capsules are filled in cellulose capsules and are 100 % gluten-free, lactose-free and gelatine-free. They are therefore also ideal for vegetarians and vegans. You too can benefit from the very highest quality.
