Discord is a digital platform that makes it easy to network online - via Text, voice or video. You can use it to chat, make phone calls, hold video conferences or take part in virtual events together. Many describe Discord as a mixture of WhatsApp, Zoom and a digital event centre.

Do I have to register?

No, full registration is not absolutely necessary. You can also participate as a "guest" - but only from the same device. If you would like to have permanent access (e.g. for several visits), you should register briefly. This only takes 1-2 minutes.

Online participation in the Therapos Congress is free for trade visitors. free of chargeas well as access to the digital exhibitor area.

Visitor registration

Not much! You will need:

  • One Computer, tablet or smartphone

  • One Internet connection

  • Speakers or headphones (for lectures)

  • Optional: microphone & camera for sharing with others

Digital quick guide

1. access to the Therapos Discord server

  • Open invitation link: You will receive the link by e-mail after registration.

  • Create account or log in:

    • It is recommended that you register with your real name.

    • Enter your date of birth for age verification.

    • Optional: Email & password for permanent account.

  • Hint: Only temporary access is possible without registration.

2. use of the server

  • Channels:

    • Text channels: Labelled with a diamond (#).

    • Voice channelsWith loudspeaker symbol.

    • Change with a simple click.

  • In voice channels: video chat & screen sharing possible.

3. settings

  • Click on the cogwheel to the right of the participant name (below the window area)

  • Under "Appearance": Chat scaling, zoom & layout customisable.

  • Under "Voice & Video": Configure microphone & loudspeaker.

4. private chats

  • Right-click on user → Start "Message" or "Call".
